Tess Background
Tess.....where do I begin with this girl!! Tess was brought in from Beech Hill Labs in Howland, ME. She has been special to us from the start. We were looking to add a little something more to our kennel when she came to us and we got exactly what we wanted!!
Tess was added to bring in another female to be the future of our breeding program. Tess has a very compact figure but don't let that fool you she can keep up with out much longer legged Jewels and she has mastered playing "keep-away" by just spinning on a dime!
Tess was tried with birds but has proven to be a little more of a princess than that and was not as interested in running the fields this past summer so we opted to take a different path and she attended her first UKC dog show where she places 1st, 2nd and took home reserve Best Female on day one!! We look forward to more dog shows with her in the coming years! We have been looking forward to, and are excited for out first breeding with Tess in 2017. Tess has watched her house mates Jewels and Lucy with their pups and she has even jumped in to assist (sometimes without the moms knowing) and even attempted to nurse Jewels' pups this past fall (which was quite funny to watch) which leads me t beleive she will slide right into motherhood when its her turn!
