JEWELS BACKGROUND
Jewels joined our family as our foundation female in 2014 and has proven to be nothing but amazing! Jewels did not even start working with ducks until a month before her first hunt test and was able to pass both days, and received her SHR title just 7 months later despite being out of commission for nearly 4 of those months to deliver and wean her 2016 litter.
Jewels has a strong drive to please without losing the affection that is so loved about the Labrador Retriever. Jewel has stamina and energy to back it up! She would play fetch all day if we wanted to, but when it is time to chill and relax she assumes her position on the couch and will snuggle with the best of them.
Jewels took to being a mom like a champ with her first litter in 2015. She had 8 beautiful babies (unfortunately one did not survive) and she was the epitome of the perfect mom. She even tepped in to help her sister Lucy raise her first litter when she was uncertain of the whole process. Jewels has been nothing short of amazing and her pups have been nothing short of perfect which is why we are carrying her line forward for the future of Puddledock Pups! She truly lives up to her name being a real Jewel for our family and our kennel!
